Our peer navigators are busy and active in a variety of locations throughout the city. Check out our projects page here to see the kinds of work we do and the locations where we work. We will help with training and making sure that you take it one step at a time. We offer paid, supportive employment.
We work with you to help you gain skills and training while you are working with us and for the future, so you will be employable with other employers over time. Most of our positions are part-time. We understand the challenges people with lived and living experience can face finding employment and we are here to help. We regularly partner with local businesses, community organizations and municipal departments that are interested in having our peer navigators, people with lived and living experience, on board. Our peers act as liaisons between those in the vulnerable community and our partner organizations. We help improve communications, break down barriers, and reduce stigmas.
We also accept contracts to perform other needed services in the community, giving our peers work experience in our supported employment programs while providing community businesses with needed labour.
